The Somali Education and Medical Development Organization (SEMDO) is a local, non-governmental, non-profit organization established in Baidoa on 28 November 2019. SEMDO was founded to address critical humanitarian and development challenges facing vulnerable communities, particularly in Southwest Somalia. Our organization works to improve access to education, healthcare, protection services, clean water, sanitation, food security, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Since our establishment, we have remained committed to empowering communities, supporting vulnerable populations, and building resilient societies through sustainable and community-driven solutions.
